Kaleidoscope
Kaleidoscope is an interactive projection mapping piece. Data is generated from the movement of the audience through a camera. This information is then used to simultaneously create patterns, which is projected onto an object. The audience can move their hands in front of the motion sensors facing them to change pattens and colors.
The concept behind this piece is an active kaleidoscope that requires your movement
Normally, you peak into a kaleidoscope to see a specific pattern. In this piece instead of looking inside a kaleidoscope, the kaleidoscope looks at you to create patterns by reading your movements. The patterns created will always be different.
